In the dialogue The Apology By Plato, the men of capital letter of Greece have made some accusations against Socrates and Socrates is presenting his defence to a jury. The oracle replies that no oneness is wiser than Socrates, just now when told, Socrates does not believe this to be true. Socrates brings up the story of the oracle at Delphi because it constitutes as a defense for several authors. It cancels out the accusation that he studies things above and below the Earth.
